Current Exhibitions

Look what's coming in 2025!

We have a truly exciting year of exhibitions planned at the Frist! Our annual lineup begins with a splendid show of French Impressionism that includes works by Monet, Pissarro, and Renoir, and it ends with intimate photographs taken by Paul McCartney at the start of Beatlemania. In between, we’ll showcase sumptuous pieces from Venice and the Ottoman Empire, remarkable American quilts, contemporary African masquerade artists, and much more!

Japan-inspired activities in ArtQuest are available through January 27

Enjoy art-making activities inspired by the Journey through Japan exhibition in both the galleries and Martin ArtQuest. Fold origami boats, play taiko drums, design anime characters and create collaborative manga comic strips, watch charming animations, and more!
